Meline Pigmentation Peel

The Meline Pigmentation Peel is formulated for deep and stubborn pigmentation, including melasma and pigmentation linked to hormones. There is more than one Meline peel, and I select the one that fits the pigmentation in front of me.

It is never just a peel. In my Edinburgh practice it is a process: preparing the skin, the peel itself, and a programme of homecare afterwards.

How it works

The peel removes the outer layer of dead skin cells and works on pigment deeper in the skin. The homecare that follows is formulated to slow the production of new pigment, encourage renewal and even out tone over the weeks between treatments.

What I use it for

  • Melasma and hormonal pigmentation

  • Sun damage and age spots

  • Uneven tone

  • Marks left behind by acne

What to expect

Appointments are around 90 minutes. The peel is done as a short course, spaced a few weeks apart, with homecare continuing throughout.

Within a Skin Journey

Pigmentation is managed over months and returns quickly to skin that is not protected. Within a Skin Journey I combine the Meline process with other treatments where they help, time it around the seasons, and keep daily SPF at the centre of the plan.
