Mesotherapy delivers active ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin, where most topical products cannot reach. Nappage is the technique: many tiny, shallow micro-injections across the area being treated.
It is very well tolerated, and the skin looks fresher and more hydrated almost straight away.
What goes into it
I use clinically studied formulations, each chosen for a clear purpose — vitamins, minerals, amino acids, peptides and hyaluronic acid, depending on what the skin needs. I do not use ingredients because they are fashionable. In my Edinburgh practice, every ingredient has to have solid research behind it.
What I use it for
Dehydrated, dull or tired skin
Supporting a weakened skin barrier and calming inflammation
Brightening, including where there is sun damage
Preparing the skin before an important event
What to expect
Appointments are around an hour. It can be combined with a PRX Peel or radio frequency in the same session, which works particularly well before an event.
Within a Skin Journey
Significant results can be seen after one session, but I prefer to use mesotherapy at regular intervals within a Skin Journey. That is where the improvement lasts.
