A Skin Journey for your wedding
Bridal Skin
I don’t treat brides differently.
I treat what is happening in your skin.
The mistake most people make is leaving it too late.
A facial the week before. A peel the month before. Hoping that will be enough.
But skin does not change like that.
If you want your skin to look its best for your wedding, it needs time.
Time to strengthen.
Time to correct.
Time to respond properly.
For most people, that means starting around six months before. Sometimes longer, depending on what we are working with.
We begin with a consultation at my Edinburgh West End practice. I assess your skin properly, then plan your treatments around your timeline.
From more active treatments, such as microneedling or radiofrequency, to periods of repair and hydration, everything is chosen for a reason. No rushing. No unnecessary treatments. Just a considered plan, carried out properly.
By the time your wedding comes around, your skin is settled, strong, and doing what it should be doing.
Your timeline
What is possible, by when.
9+
Months out
A full Skin Journey.
Time to address your skin properly.
We can correct what needs correcting, strengthen where support has been lost, and build skin that is genuinely better by the time your wedding arrives.
6+
Months out
A Skin Journey.
Enough time to make meaningful change.
The focus is on improving skin quality and consistency, following a clear direction so your skin is settled, strong, and reliable when it matters.
3+
Months out
A focused, preparatory phase.
At this stage, the work becomes more considered.
We refine, stabilise, and support the skin, ensuring it looks its best without pushing it beyond what the timeline allows.
Less than 3 months?
Begin with a consultation regardless.
We will assess your skin properly and be clear about what is realistic within your timeframe.
On the day
Your skin, looking like itself, only stronger.
The aim is not a different face.
It is your skin, properly cared for over time, arriving at your wedding calm, clear, and well supported.
No last-minute treatments
No guesswork
No rushing decisions close to the day
Just skin prepared properly.
a bride's experience
Six months before the wedding
"I could not believe the person looking back at me was me."
— Name S., six-month Skin Journey
I went for a consultation with Liz in February 2024. I was getting married on the 24th of July, and I wanted to have beautiful, clear skin for my big day. I opted for the three-month Skin Journey to start with, then extended it to six months.
I adore how Liz personalises everyone's Skin Journey to your skin type and goals. We are all different, and we all require different treatments to reach the outcome we want. Each facial was a bit different, with a brief consultation beforehand to clarify what would happen during the treatment and how it would achieve my goals.
On my wedding day, I felt the most beautiful I have felt in a very long time. I could have cried when I looked in the mirror, because I could not believe the person looking back at me was me.
I also found my facials with Liz deeply relaxing. This positively impacted my mental health, especially when my grandmother passed away a few months before my wedding.
Liz knew exactly what to say and do to comfort me and help sort out my very distressed skin at the same time.
Some may ask why go for a Skin Journey? We buy holidays, clothes and other treats. Why should we not invest the same time and care in our skin? It is about the long-term, not the quick fix. The results speak for themselves.
