Exosomes

Exosomes are tiny messengers that cells use to pass signals to one another. In skin treatment, they deliver concentrated repair signals that help the skin calm, renew and recover.

They are one of the newer technologies in my Edinburgh practice, and I use them with a clear purpose.

How I use them

I deliver exosomes through microneedling, so they reach the layers of the skin where repair happens. I often use them after more intensive work, to calm the skin and support its recovery.

What I use them for

  • Skin that looks tired and slow to renew

  • Sensitive and reactive skin

  • Supporting repair after treatments such as skin needling and Dermaforce

What to expect

[Liz to add: appointment length, what the skin looks like afterwards, and downtime.]

Within a Skin Journey

Exosomes are rarely the first thing I reach for. Within a Skin Journey they support the work that other treatments start, so the skin recovers well and the results hold.
