Polynucleotides, often called salmon DNA, work with the skin's own repair processes. They support how the skin functions, encourage collagen and improve its resilience over time.
They are not a filler. They do not change the shape of the face. They help the skin respond differently.
How I use them
I deliver polynucleotides through microneedling, which lets me treat the whole face evenly. I do not inject them under the eyes, as some practitioners do.
Results build gradually over a course of treatment, not overnight.
What I use them for
Skin that has become thin, reactive or slow to repair
Skin that is short of hydration and resilience
The areas that tend to weaken first: around the eyes, the neck and the décolleté
What to expect
There is no downtime and no disruption to your day. Over the course, skin tends to look more hydrated, stronger and clearer.
Within a Skin Journey
Polynucleotides are never a standalone answer. In my Edinburgh practice they sit alongside other treatments and homecare, chosen only when the skin genuinely needs this kind of support.
